Supreme Court update on the Winding Up in Insolvency List

March 9, 2025 By Davies Moloney Barristers & Solicitors

The Supreme Court of Victoria has announced that from 1 January 2025, all appearances in the Winding Up in Insolvency List will be heard in person.

Should any person or practitioner wish to appear remotely they must make an application for leave by no later than the Monday before the hearing.  Please note that the Supreme Court has indicated that simply being based interstate may not be sufficient grounds for leave to appear remotely.

If you require any further information about this or alternatively require our assistance in appearing as an agent in the Winding Up List, please contact our office.
